Avocado in Morocco: preparing spraying and fertigation

Growing avocado in Gharb or around Larache? Before choosing drone spraying or a fertigation program, the assessment needs to describe your orchard, irrigation and intended outcome.

Can a drone treat tall avocado trees?

Height alone is not enough to decide. The assessment needs canopy density, tree width, row spacing and the part of the tree to be reached. An application above the orchard does not prove that the inner canopy was covered. Tirsoil plans to assess feasibility on the plot before proposing an operation.

Which water volume or rate should be used?

This guide does not set a universal L/ha value or fertilizer rate. The product, objective, plot conditions and analyses need review. For a fertigation enquiry, include tree age, variety, emitter flow rates and irrigation duration alongside your current program.

Prepare this information

  • Tree variety, age, height and density
  • Area and location of orchard blocks
  • Available water and soil analyses, with dates
  • Irrigation, current fertilizers and main concern

These guides explain our approach. They are not a diagnosis of your plot or a report of field trial results.
